* When and Why do you start a new record-label?
we started everestrecords in 1999, cause the time has come to release our
own stuff. instead of wasting our time and power to find a label wich would
release our music, we prefered to realize our own label with the nice option
to have everything under control.

* Who are the artists of Everest records an in what kind of music style they are working?
in the begining we were releasing just our own stuff (meienberg, matu,
everest). after that we were asked by people we know to bring out their
music too (herpes ö deluxe, hess/op rechts). right now there are 3 new
releases with other artists in progress. more soon on our website.
the style goes from experimental electronica to clickery ambient. but on
principle, style isn¹t the first priority for us, aslong as it rocks.

* How do you see the possibilities of success in a total overdosed music-market?
success? we just do small editions (100-1000 pieces) and bring it to the
stores and distribut it through our shop on the net. we get good feedbacks,
that´s success.

* Can you explain the status of electronic music in Swiss?
no

* Which kind of networking you prefer?
first of all to work together with people you can count on. in switzerland
we got a pretty good network, based on the work we do as promoter under the
monicker r3s3t and the collaboration with random acoustics for the
contemporary culture convention, a platform for swiss electronic music..

* Which are the artist, you would like to release in the future?
kaleidophone (from the buero destruct posse), robert butler and the
bassdriver with a project called "the superstooges". also planed is an
everest 10" called "heimlich maneuver".

* Three words: Sampler, Microphone, Nature? Any answers?
